In short

aurores.pulsar-si.com sets no tracking cookies, uses no advertising tools, and never shares your data with third parties. The only personal data we collect comes from the contact form - solely to reply to you. You stay in control: a single email to hello@pulsar-si.com is enough to exercise any GDPR right.

Data controller

PULSAR Space Intelligence SAS, 5 rue Gazan, 06130 Grasse, France. SIREN 988 868 808.
GDPR contact: hello@pulsar-si.com (mention "GDPR" in the subject for priority handling).

Data collected

Contact form (/en/contact/)

  • Name (optional), email (required), subject, message content, timestamp.
  • The email is forwarded by our API to contact@pulsar-si.com or app@pulsar-si.com depending on the selected subject, via the SMTP service SendGrid (Twilio Inc., United States).
  • You automatically receive a confirmation email at the address you provide.

Server technical logs

  • IP address, user agent, pages visited, HTTP codes, timestamp.
  • Used solely for security and technical diagnostics. Stored on OVH servers located in the European Union (Roubaix).

Analytics

  • Plausible Analytics, self-hosted on our OVH infrastructure, used for aggregate audience measurement.
  • No tracking cookies: Plausible uses no cookies, does not identify visitors individually, and complies with GDPR without a consent banner (CNIL exemption).

No third-party tracking

No advertising cookies, no Facebook / Google pixel, no third-party audience-measurement scripts. The Cabin font is self-hosted - no request to Google Fonts.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Replying to contact messages: pre-contractual measures or consent (GDPR article 6.1.b or 6.1.a).
  • Technical logs: legitimate interest (system security, GDPR article 6.1.f).
  • Audience measurement: legitimate interest, anonymous processing (Plausible).

Retention periods

  • Contact messages: 12 months, or until archived if the request leads to a commercial relationship.
  • Technical / security logs: 12 months maximum.
  • Plausible statistics (aggregate, non-identifying): retained without time limit, with no link to an identifiable visitor.

Transfers outside the European Union

The only EU-outside transfer concerns email delivery via SendGrid (Twilio Inc., United States). The transfer is governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The optional reverse-geocoding (looking up the name of a dark-sky observation spot) uses Nominatim (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom) - data covered by the UK adequacy decision recognised by the European Commission.

  • Right of rectification
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to restrict processing
